Another installment of Travelogue Tuesdays arrives with our mysterious traveller regaling us with tales of the strange town of.. Kitty Kitty.
No tour is complete without a visit to Kitty-Kitty – the happiest town in Zethyria. This is one place where everyone is always smiling. Legend has it that a necromancer came upon the town and at the wish of a child, made it the happiest place in Zethyria. Before he came to Kitty Kitty, the people were normal, sad, and boring. But with a wave of his hand and a crook of his finger, everyone was left smiling.
After a day of picnicking have the kids join the village school in a game of Bones, or perhaps they would like a chance to swim in the Happy Slime Pool. Join the mayor in the Dungeon of Charm where
prisoners guests work together to make a musical sound like nothing you have ever heard before. If you are really tired, visit Bean’s Tavern on the North side of town (say Hello to the owner, Sawney). Visitors are always welcomed with open arms as the residents of Kitty Kitty love new friends (especially with a blood pudding!). They will be happy to show you famous landmarks like the Crowing Rooster (he’s been crowing for over 300 years) or introduce the children to the Mayor’s Daughter (she’s had the same birthday party every day for the last 300 years and it never gets old). Be charmed by the old world stylings of the All Percussion Orchestra (bones are their specialty), or enjoy a night in Jenny Greenteeth’s Spa. There is even a Dueling Club for the more macho traveler. No trip to Kitty Kitty would be complete without a visit to the world famous mausoleum. Enjoy guided or unguided tours through the labyrinth, culminating in the Chamber of Horrors where you will be entertained by the local customs involving tea, feasting, beer, and a human sacrifice. As they say in Kitty Kitty, “Welcome to the town where YOU are the star!”
Unfortunately the traveller’s note becomes illegible beyond this point. Hopefully we will get more details from them in future letters!
